First star

Goalie Shane Starrett. The sophomore stopped every shot he faced with the clock running – 37 in all – and allowed only a penalty shot to Austin Cangelosi in the second period.

Second star

Defenseman Phil Boje. The junior recovered from a scary hit from behind late in the second period to set up Matt Serratore’s tying goal early in the third. He and his fellow D-men kept BC outside most of the game. In reality, he’s the face of what was a tremendous group effort.

Third star

Forward Matt Serratore. His third-period goal ignited the comeback, and he was especially strong on the penalty kill.
